Many people assume they need a dozen specialized discs before their first round. They buy a heavy collection, yet most of these plastics end up sitting in a garage collecting dust.
Building a solid foundation is about choosing the right plastic and weight for your current skill level. Finding the Best Innova Discs requires patience, so here is the breakdown you need to make the right choice.
Key Takeaways
- Prioritize DX plastic for your early days because its grip is reliable and the cost is lower for learning.
- Select lower weights between 150g and 165g if you struggle to get your discs to fly straight or glide properly.
- Verify that your starter set includes a dedicated putter to ensure your accuracy improves on the green.
- Check the stability rating, as overstable discs will often hook sharply left for right-handed players.
- Consider purchasing a mid-range disc that feels comfortable in your hand since you will rely on it for most approach shots.
