The stubborn tug of adhesive pulling against your gums is a sensation you likely want to avoid at all costs. You deserve a moment of refreshment that does not threaten the structural integrity of your dental work.
Finding the Best Gum for Dentures means balancing flavor with a formula that refuses to stick to acrylic or porcelain surfaces. Getting this choice right allows you to enjoy a simple pleasure again. Here is what you should consider before you pick your next pack.
Key Takeaways
- Prioritize gum specifically formulated to be non-stick so it does not cling to denture plates.
- Seek out sugar-free options to protect any remaining natural teeth from decay.
- Check labels for xylitol, as this ingredient helps maintain moisture and balances oral pH.
- Choose brands that emphasize a soft consistency to avoid putting unnecessary pressure on your gums.
- Avoid classic bubblegum bases, as their heavy tackiness is prone to causing displacement of dental appliances.
