The secret to the Best Ashtray is how well it hides the mess. A tray that leaves ash visible or allows wind to scatter remnants is merely an open invitation for a cleanup chore you do not need.
Functional design acts like a quiet room for your cigarette, sealing away the spent remains while keeping the surrounding area tidy. Focus on these picks to ensure your patio or office remains as pristine as the day you cleaned it.
Key Takeaways
- Prioritize heavy materials like concrete or stainless steel if you intend to use the tray outdoors where wind could easily topple a lighter model.
- Look for a deep basin or a secure lid mechanism to prevent ash from blowing onto your furniture during unexpected gusts.
- Verify the physical dimensions to ensure the tray fits your specific table footprint or car cup holder before purchasing.
- Choose models with a detachable internal component if you prefer a quick and easy way to dispose of waste without washing the entire unit.
- Ensure the cigarette rests are wide enough to accommodate the specific size of your preferred cigars or cigarettes to prevent them from falling.
